As we know by reading history of Ashura, after the martyrdom of Hazrat Hassan a.s (The Loneliest Commander, a serial in Urdu), his younger brother Hazrat Hussein a.s left Madina and went to Mecca, Imam Hussein a.s also sent two emissaries to Kufa and Basra, Suleiman was selected as emissary of Hussain for Basra. It was the same time, when Mokhtar was put into jail by Abdullah bin Ziyad in Kufa, and before Muslim bin Aqeel as emissary of Hussein took allegiance from Kufis, Mokhtar remained neutral. ....... Muslim bin Aqeel was trapped by Abdullah bin Ziyad and martyred.
